Maple Glazed Roasted Butternut Squash



Ingredients:


  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cubed

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp nutmeg

  • ¼ tsp ground cloves

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional garnish: chopped pecans or fresh thyme


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the butternut squash with olive oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and pepper.

  3. Spread the squash evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  4. Roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the squash is caramelized and tender.

  5. Garnish with chopped pecans or fresh thyme before serving.
